Voting is open until 3pm on November 24. Every CREB member has the opportunity to vote. In addition to having the support of CREB’s Board  Development and Leadership Committee, here’s what you need to know about me!

Karen chose to make a change to a career in real estate 11 years ago when her family fell on some hard times. With her determination, energy, and passion, she’s had a successful business, and failure truly was not an option. Her approach from the outset has always been “client first” which resulted in having her earned many accolades and long lasting relationships. She is never afraid to jump in with both feet and embraces every challenge with enthusiasm.

Karen’s hard work has paid off, earning her many sales and professional awards in our industry over the years. She is also known for her willingness and desire to help fellow REALTORs and her contributions to her community and the real estate industry. Karen volunteers on various boards (community, school, theatre), and CREB committees including the Technology Standing Committee, the ROAR awards (Marketing subcommittee), and the Town and Country committee. She has also taught sessions in real estate technology to agents in Calgary, and across Alberta.

Living on an acreage with her husband and 3 teenage boys, Karen and her family love the outdoor lifestyle, and travelling. Karen is also known to run the occasional half-marathon!

With Karen’s passion for continuous learning, seeking improvement in systems and efficiencies, coupled with the desire to support her colleagues and the real estate industry, she is tremendously excited to embrace the role of Director on CREB’s Board of Directors.
